Supporting and HArmonizing Research Endeavors (SHARE)<\/h1>\n\n\n

Welcome to the Supporting and HArmonizing Research Endeavors (SHARE)<\/strong> webpage! Supported by an NSF Growing Research Access for Nationally Transformative Equity and Diversity (GRANTED) award, the SHARE program addresses national Research Leadership Development and Integrity\/Compliance needs by developing R<\/strong>egional C<\/strong>ommunities of P<\/strong>ractice (RCOP<\/strong>s) that provide breadth and depth of expertise to institutions struggling to identify and access existing resources and\/or develop their own internal infrastructure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Potential Applicants<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Upon successful completion of this project, we will have: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) developed an easily replicable RCOP model of Leadership Development that will provide research leadership training, mentorship, support, and broad knowledge transfer; and <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) created two Compliance RCOPs (in Ohio and Texas) that distribute the regulatory burden among participating institutions while also developing the knowledge base and expertise amoung constituents.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In the future, the Leadership Development and Compliance RCOPs can be joined to form Regional Research Networks, and the model can be replicated and expanded across the U.S. to strengthen our nation\u2019s research administration capacity and, in turn, national research capacity. Thus, the SHARE program will increase the research capacity and thereby the economic impact of all institutions involved. In addition, the program will develop publicly available tools and resources, expand the pool of qualified research administrators, promote research, provide trainee opportunities, and increase job readiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
